Hi, TI engineers

Form the datasheet,we know DRA72X just compliant with EMMC V4.5,

Now we want to use EMMC V5.0,any updates in Linux kernal and Uboot?

1. what linux sdk release version are you trying to use.
2. what is the emmc5.0 part are you trying to use.
3. is there anything in specific feature of 5.0 spec that you want to use which is not available in v4.5?

1，SDK is kernel:4.4.84

2，Sch as follows:

3,In some board,it's failed when we write data into EMMC and start up failed when board place -40℃ ambient

Suggested answer from e2e similar question:

eMMCv5 part would be backward compatible with V4.5 hence you would be able to use a V5 part on DRA7x device.
The features from V5 spec will not be available /supported, But you should be able to use 4.5 features.

Please check with MTFC4GACAJCN-4M IT manfucaturer/datasheet for backward compatibility.
