CCS: How do I get memory usage of TIDL usecase

I am using CCS v7.4 and TDA2xx board to run TIDL Image Segmentation use case. Struggling for getting memory profiling information.

Hi Gouri,

you can try to use ROV (Runtime Object View). Please check this wiki for some info of ROV usage:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Runtime_Object_View_(ROV)

Hello Yordan,

I tried what you suggested above. But when I launch selected configuration and connect to the target using the Runtime Object Viewer, it throws an error:

" Error: Failed to start ROV using 'comm=DSLite:6,wsPort=59818':: Can't extract RTSC configuration package path '/REL.TIDLOBJ.00.07.00.00/modules/ti_dl/test/out/dsp_test_dl_algo.out ' ".

I am not sure about this error. I have pinged the TIDL experts, the may suggest something.

Hi Gouri,

Please refer to section 1.3 Memory Summery in the data sheet (TIDeepLearningLibrary_DataSheet.pdf) for internal memory requirements and external memory requirements will change based on the network, so refer to memory allocations in the tidl_tb.c file to calculate the external memory requirements for the network you are running.
