RTOS: Building EVE on Linux machine

Hello,

I want to build eve package which is at ti_components/algorithms/eve_sw_01_16_00_00

So my question is whether this installation is supported on linux machine??

Because "eve_sw_getting_started.pdf" says it only support on windows.

Hi Kajal,
EVE SW build is supported on Linux . Only host emulation in Linux is not supported by current build system.

Hello Anshu,

What does mean by " host emulation " ??
Does it requires some extra functionality ? ( basically why we cant run it on Linux ??)

Hi Kajal,
Host emulation means running EVE code directly on PC environment. We have not used it on Linux so our build currently doesn't support host emulation build on Linux.
