How to make the "arago-demo-image-dm6467t-evm.tar.gz" into rootfs?

My chip is DM6467 and I install DVSDK.

I download the arago-base-image-arago.ext2.gz and arago-demo-image-dm6467t-evm.tar.gz.

but I don't know how to run the file in the arago-demo-image-dm6467t-evm.tar.gz and dvsdk_3_10_00_19_overlay_dm6467.tar.gz.

I just want to run /opt/dvsdk/dm6467/loadmodules.sh.how?

The DM6467 Getting Started Guide has software setup instructions that include setup of the

demo file system and the overlay file which contains applications and data for the target.

Go to software setup section. From there, go to the link depending on your configuration (Montavista Linux or

community Linux). See DM6467 platform setup in DVSDK 3.10 for special instructions for community Linux

with DM6467 platform (as opposed to the DM6467T platform).

Maybe I don't express my mind.

I install the DVSDK.

I want to make the arago-base-image-arago.tar.gz and dvsdk_3_10_00_19_overlay_dm6467.tar.gz into the arago-base-image-arago.ext2.gz.

because arago-base-image-arago.tar.gz start in the /dev/nfs ,but I want /dev/ram0.

so I need the arago-base-image-arago.tar.gz into the arago-base-image-arago.ext2.gz.

How ?

Once you have done all the DVSDK install steps the overlay is combined with the base file system.

Now you need to make a compressed ramdisk file from that.

The following article includes ramdisk creation. It was written for the DM365 but shows the

Linux commands to create a ramdisk.

Finally copy the file to /tftpboot/ramdisk.gz on Linux host and the file can be loaded using tftp

to target.
