Hello,

After several issues were resolved with helps from TI support people I can start to build the process SDK. Thanks you for the great helps. Feels like the build takes very long time first time. It has been beyond 10 hours. Can you please let me know how long will it take for the first build? Current progress is 3010 of 9019 tasks. I have a dual core Intel Core 2 Duo E7600 3.06GHz and 2 GB physical memory. I configured a 32 GB swap file.

I will buy a new computer, can you please let me know what spec I need for the new computer so I can control the build time within 1 hour?

    Are there any way that could speed up the build process? Any tips to modify parameters in file ./conf/local.conf?

    Hello Ken,

    We do not have a list of hardware configurations which can built the Processor SDK within specified 1 hour time frame. If your budget can allow you a 84 cores computer with 64 GB RAM and the fastest SSD in the market, you will probably built it for 30 min. There are implemented techniques in OE to speed up the incremental building but unfortunately the first build time mainly depends on your hardware.
