Hi TI Experts,

Please let me confirm the following questions.

[Question.1]
Do you have any way to confirm whether the current contest is task context or non-task context at tarbitrary point?

[Question.2]
Would you please teach me the behavior and return value when call the "Task_self()" on HW interrupt context? And how about the case of SW interrupt context?

[Queston.3]
Would you please teach me the behavior and return value when call the "Swi_self()" on HW interrupt context? And how about the case of task context?

Hi Kaka,

You can use BIOS_getThreadType to determine if you are in a Task, Swi or Hwi.

If Task_self is called from a Hwi (or Swi), it returns the Task_Handle of the task that was running before being preempted by the Hwi (or Swi).
If Swi_self is called from a Hwi, it returns the Swi_Handle of the Swi that was running before being preempted by the Hwi. If there was no Swi running, NULL is returned. If Swi_self is called from a Task, it returns NULL since there is no Swi currently running...otherwise it would be running and not the Task.
