Hi,

I'm experiencing an issue with running the USB mass-storage host example application on evmAM5728 board.

PDK version: pdk_am57xx_1_0_10

CCS version: 8.0.0.00016

cd C:\ti\pdk_am57xx_1_0_10\packages

pdksetupenv.bat

pdkProjectCreate.bat AM572x idkAM572x little usb all arm

Build the imported project, connect to ARM core then load the .out file and run the program. The CCS ConsoleIO will display the following:

RTOS USB Host MSC example!!
USBHCDMain failed with this error: 0xf0000

Please also describe your hardware setup when you run the example. Do you have the USB thumb drive in the appropriate port. If you check the erro code provided by the API USBHCDMAin, the error corresponds to ERROR_USB_HOST_DEVICE_NOTSUPPORTED (0x000f0000).

Can you try a different thumb drive and see if you observe the same error.

Hi,

For AM572x, the USB host example only support IDK EVM, you can not run it on GP EVM. The GP EVM has a USB hub, the USB driver doesn't support it.
