Hi,

We are developing an application with OMAP35x and have few questions on C6Accel tool.

-Can C6Accel tool be integrated or used with older OMAP35x DVSDK versions like DVSDK 3_01.

-If we develop DSP side applications using this tool, how good will be the real time performace.

-We are developing codec applications on DSP and would like to know what would be the benefit of using this tool.

Chikku,

Yes, you can integrate the C6Accel tool with DVSDK 3.01 components for OMAP35x platform. C6Accel package has been verified using the DVSDK 3.1 on OMAP3530 and DM6467 platfoms. However, since your application also involves using the DSP for codec applicaton, you will have to integrate the C6Accel tool with the your codec server.
