DM365 encode demo:Can not create speech device

i run the encode demo on dm365(DVSDK2.1) as follow to get a g711 file using the mic on the EVM board: ./encode -t 10 -v test.264 -s test.g711, but it shows failed to create speech device. I use the kernel with default configuration, someone says the kernel must contain the cq93VC modules, so i build a new kernel, but the problem always existed.

so who can tell me the reason?

Hello,

The error message comes from the demo not being able to open the sound device (/dev/dsp). Either the file node doesn't exist, or you don't have the OSS sound device driver enabled in your kernel configuration.

thanks for your reply, I found the sound device (/dev/dsp), so could you give me some infomation about the OSS and the kernel configguration?

and i do not find the audio driver user guide for dm365, only find LSP 2.10 DaVinci Linux Audio Driver User's Guide in the PSP2.1.14\doc\ , but it looks like not write for the dm365
