SVGA (800x600 @ 60Hz) source for TVP7002

I am not sure what exactly you meant to say. Here is the bottom line.

DM6467 accepts up to 16-bit Y/C non-muxed video with embedded sync only in this case, so whatever comes out of TVP need to be in that format.

I am not familiar the cable you were talking about, but you can read http://support.spectrumdigital.com/boards/evmdm6467/revf/files/DaVinciHD_EVM_Schematics_RevF.pdf for how the two are connected our DM6467 EVM.

TVP7002 accepts analog component in, so whatever can generate 800x600@60 analog out can be connected to it.

Thanks for your reply. My concern is the RGB analog input source. Please follow the link below to see tha cable which I am referring to:

Can I connect VGA end of this cable to normal computer CPU and 3-RCA end to input of TVP7002? If I configure my computer CPU to give 800x600 output, will TVP7002 be able to detect it?

Try connecting the 3-RCA (component) end to a monitor. If the monitor can display the image, then TVP7002 should be able to detect it as well. If not, then TVP7002 might not be able to do it.
