Hello everyone,

I got a question for 2ch-transcoder. I want to implement 2ch-transcoder which have a function to decode MPEG4(SP/ASP) RTP and encode H.264(MP) RTP simultaneously. Target resolution is D1. Would you let me know whether DM365 or DM368 can be possible?

Hi Dooker,

Please choose DM368 for 2 x Mpeg4 -> H.264 transcode. You can acheive this by ruinning 2 instance of Mpeg4 decoder and 2 instance of H.264 encoder. Please choose the HDVICP version of Mpeg4 decoder as it gives the universal decoder functionality. I also suggest you use ver 2.0 H.264 codec when you build the system as it has better performance that earlier ver 1.1 codec.
