Linux/TMS320DM368: pull-up resistors on UART

Part Number: TMS320DM368

Tool/software: Linux

Dear Champs,

My customer connected GPS on DM368 through UART, and found UART IO voltage drop to 2.2V due to pull-up resistors, but this voltage drop was resolved by modifying FW SW and found 3.3V IO voltage in UART IO.

But, although voltage drop issue was resolved by modifying SW, they would like to check if these pull-up resistors should be removed or if the resistor values should be reduced up 1K at least.

Could you please check if these pull-up resistors should be removed or if the resistor value should be reduced to 1K at least in UART data line?

Thanks and Best Regards,

SI.
