about DM642 performance

Hi, I plan to run a H.264 baseline@L3 Encode in DM642 600MHz, can this chip support
D1 size(720x576)? please give me a help, what tools can baseline H.264 encode
contain if it can support D1 size in DM642? Thanks very much.

    I don't believe TI provides a H.264 for the DM642 (though there is a H.263) so you may have to go to a third party for H.264 on the DM642. I suspect that you could handle D1 resolution, however as I have not worked with a H.264 implementation on a DM642 I could not say for sure. You may want to take a look through the third party search to choose a third party whom has such an implementation.
