Linux/AM5728: Building kernel modules

Hi,

we are using AM5728 EVM for development purpose.

Some of our peripheral drivers are required to be build in the same kernel tree where they going to be executed.

Hence, we want to build and integrate some peripheral drivers inside filesystem of AM5728. we could not find any build folder in /lib/modules/<kernelversion>/

Is it possible to build kernel modules in AM5728 filesystem it self.

Is there any procedure / guidelines?

Thanks for the info Margarita.
sorry for late response because of my work break.

The link explains about dynamic kernel modules configured through kernel configuration.

But here, I have my own kernel module with some device driver code . I want to cross compile this externel module outside of linux source tree
with the help of sdk and load into ARM target
please guide us
