Something about devRocket

Hi,everyone.

I' m a new hand. I'd like to use the development tool DevRocket, but I cannot find where is it and how to start. I have installed the MontaVista linux professional 4.0, but I don't know where the DevRocket installed. Could you tell me how to do? Thanks.

Hi Jack, if you installed your software refering to DVEVM Getting Started Guide, and you should find out the DevRocket plug-in file in "/opt/mv_pro_4.0/montavista/common/eclipse" folder, but if it is not existed, here is a post which introduces how to develope EVM6446 with other way. I hope it will help.

I want to clarify that you do not get DevRocket as part of DVSDK bundle woth EVM; to get access to DevRocket, you would need to purchase one of the DVSPB bundles (http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/tmdsdvspba9.html) which include MV License and access to MVZone software update site.

If you have one of these bundles already, I believe DevRocket should have come in one of the CDs; alternatively, you could get it thru MVZone.
