Hi Champs,

I'm now studying RTSC-ed IPC package.

According to my understanding, IPC pacakge has almost same functionalities with the current DSPLINK, but I could not find the ringio component in the package. Do you plan to support it in the near future?

Also, I understand how MessageQ works in multi-core environment using sys/bios, but I don't understand how it works on the other OS environment , for example, ARM using Linux, + DSP using Sysbios. Do you know good example code or recipe or documents to get started ?

Hi,

Which device are you using? The RingIO component and Linux support in the existing DSPLink product have been moved to a separate product that coexists with IPC (which purely runs on SYS/BIOS). I've referred your post to others who can comment on the general availability of this product.

Kawada san,

Thanks for your interest in a similar product on A8.

The name of the product is SysLink (next generation DSPLink for SysBIOS) . This will provide RingIO IPC on DSP core. This will also provide IPC similar to DSPLink on core A8 with SysBios on DSP.

This will be available as an external down load by Oct end.

Ok, I'm looking forward to getting it as a generic product. Reviewing the code and embedded documents may answer to my second question related linux. ... Anyway, I'll wait for the generic release.
