AM4376: VDDS3P3V_IOLDO pin connection

Hi,

In my current design, AM4376 is powered by PMIC TPS65218. As I know, I find that the pin VDDS3P3V_IOLDO should be grounded when not using simplified power sequencing, which is defined in the schematic checklist.

But for my current design, I pulled up 3.3V directly to the pin VDDS3P3V_IOLDO, which can't be reworked by hands. This connection is suggested by Chinese FAE.

So anyway, in this case, is that OK for the AM4376 system? Is there any issue to the AM4376?

Hi,

VDDS3P3V_IOLDO is the power input to the internal 1.8V LDO. There will be no adverse effects if this pin is powered, except that power consumption will be a little bit higher. Hopefully you have a 2.2uF capacitor on pin CAP_VDDS1P8V_IOLDO, which is the LDO output.
