Hi ,

I am facing Compilation Error While building DVEVM Software(DVEVM 1.00.00.32) with Kernel version 20 (ti davinci 2.6.20).

1) I would like to know whether any patches needs to be applied for building these modules.

2)If yes from where I get these patches?

I am able to build  DVEVM software  (DVEVM 1.00.00.32) with kernel (2.6.10).

    The DVEVM/DVSDK software package is only built around a particular kernel version currently, so you would need some significant modifications to build with a newer kernel, however I do not believe such modifications have been made so I am not sure if or where you could get such patches.

    Your DVEVM/DVSDK version is a bit out of date so you may want to update to a newer version from www.ti.com/davinciregistration after registering your EVM, however even the current 1.30.01.41 DVSDK still uses the older 2.6.10 kernel. Note that the upcoming DVSDK 2.0 will use Monta Vista 5.0 which has kernel 2.6.18, but I do not know of any DVSDK support planned for kernel 2.6.20.
