Hello All,

 

I would like to  clarify that if we buy Pulse Oximeter (PO or SpO2) Analog Front End Module for the C5505 PO or SpO2 Medical Development Kit 
We get the TMDXEVM5515 along with it. Or is it 5505?
Also what all equipment other than this will be needed? Like sensors, etc

    This is just the FE module. The C5515 EVM sold seperately.

    what else?

     

    Do we have a Kit which we can buy one shot?

     

    And what does the AFE module include?

    The MDK is designed to support complete medical applications development. It includes the following

    elements:

    • Analog front-end boards (FE boards) specific to the key target medical applications of the C5515

    (ECG, digital stethoscope, pulse oximeter), highlighting the use of the TI analog components for

    medical applications

    • C5515 DSP evaluation module (EVM) main board

    • Medical applications software including example demonstrations

     

    How do I buy this kit? Any links?

    Hello feroz,

    Three MDK front-end daughter cards are available under "Tools & Software" on:

    http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/tms320c5515.htm

    These AFE modules can seamlessly connect to C5515 EVM or various processor platforms.

    C5515EVM evaluation module can also be found in the above "Tool & Software" link.

    Users can order their applicable modules to form their kit.

    Application sample code based on C5515 DSP and PC application software is now provided for FREE on our open source at: http://code.google.com/p/c5505-ezdsp/

    Scroll down and look for the link under C5515 EVM.

    And you are correct. A complete SpO2 MDK would be: C5515, AFE and a sensor.
