Hi team,

My customer want to use am5718 do 2 screens display. Software is PLSDK.

First screen have graphic layer (UI,menus...)and video playback.

The second screen is 1/2 or 1/4 resolution of first screen play the same thing(UI+Video). And the second screen size can be adjust dynamically.

Do you have any suggestion about this? And which demo can been used? thanks!

Second screen size (CRTC) cannot be dynamically adjusted but the video and UI resolution can be dynamically adjusted.

Hi Margarita,

I used am5728 evm with LCD and HDMI monitor.
I try to display matrix on both the screen.
But I only can display it on LCD or HDMI. But don't know how to display it both.
Could you please help to display matrix on both screen?

BTW:
Command to change matrix display from lcd to hdmi.
/etc/init.d/weston stop
weston --tty=1 --connector=36 &
/etc/init.d/matrix start

connector 36 is hdmi and 32 is lcd.

Yes, I already check the URL.

But still can't find how to display matrix on both hdmi and lcd at same time.

But if you are execute weston --tty=1 you are seeing weston on both right?

Hi margarita,

Yes, weston --tty=1 has been executed.
I can see Weston on both screen. But the matrix only on LCD, I hope matrix show on both screen.

Hello,

I am able to see matrix on HDMI only by using:

root@am57xx-evm:~# unset WAYLAND_DISPLAY

root@am57xx-evm:~# /etc/init.d/weston stop

root@am57xx-evm:~# weston --tty=1 --connector=36 &

root@am57xx-evm:~# /etc/init.d/matrix-gui-2.0 start

Hello,

Regarding Martix GUI, we cannot display same content on both screen (cloning) using Weston.
