AM3358: ePWM synchronization

Hello

I pretend to work with the input synchronization of ePWM with AM3358, from external hardware (GPS at 1pps) which is a synchronized event.

Looking in datasheet, figure below, I see that if I enable TBCTL[CNTLDE], which is wrong in datasheet it was supposed to be TBCTL[PHSEN], is enough to work when a event occur in EPWMxSYNCIN.

So my question is when the synchronization event occur the counter is reset or only loaded to the TBPHS value?

Which suggestions would you give me? This is best solution for my case or do you think is best to work with interruptions??

Hi,

Table 15-64 in the AM335x TRM Rev. P states:

PHSEN Counter Register Load From Phase Register Enable:

0h (R/W) = Do not load the time-base counter (TBCNT) from the time-base phase register (TBPHS)

1h (R/W) = Load the time-base counter with the phase register when an EPWMxSYNCI input signal occurs or when a software synchronization is forced by the SWFSYNC bit.

I see so is only loaded with the TBPHS
