using the h264 codec library without rtsc/xdais

Hello,

I'm using CCS v4 for DM365 developing. Can I use the h264 codec or any other codec for the DM365 by simple linking the library (h264venc_ti_arm926.a) to my object code and use an API? If not, what is the best way to use the codec without linux? In CCS v4, I would create an RTSC project with XDAIS support. Is that the right way?

I am not sure if DM365 is supported by CCSv4. We have used it with CCS v3. There will be a seperate library which will work in CCS environement. This codec will be uploaded in web very soon.

does this mean, that the windows version of the codec I've downloaded (dm365_h264enc_01_10_00_09_production.exe) is only for ccs v3 or linux? I've thought, that if I use ccs v4 and a RTSC based project, I can use the codec, but only with xdc tools and xdais.

1.10.00.09 us for Linux. It will not work on CCS.

CCS based codec is yet to be released on web. It may take some time, approx 1-2 months.
