AM5748: U-boot hangs

Part Number: AM5748

From customer:

We are having an issue with the AM5748 where it will hang during u-boot somewhere between detecting the DDR (DRAM:   2 GiB) and doing something with the MMC (MMC:    OMAP SD/MMC:  0, OMAP SD/MMC:1:1 **). We are booting from an uSD card so we clearly initially read something from the uSD. However, if we power cycle it a lot of times, maybe 20 or so, it will finally fully initialize. Once up, power cycling always results in a successful boot. Freezing does not seem to cause the board to fail again but if we leave the card off for a while, say an hour, it will hang again

I checked errata and didn’t find anything like this. I have asked our SW people to be more explicit about what the SW is doing immediately before the hang.
