AM5718: Flash tools for RTOS

Part Number: AM5718
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Hi,

With regards to AM57x Flash programming tool, do we have any windows based
programming tool like Uniflash?  We need to program QSPI flash.

The USB DFU seems to be used only on the Linux Platform.
But our application is based on TI-RTOS.

In case of windows the only option is to use CCS and "qspi_flash_writer.out"??

Best Regards
paddu

  • The RTOS team have been notified. They will respond here.
  • Paddu,

In current RTOS SDK environment CCS based QSPI writer is the only available option for flashing QSPI .

We are currently working on an update to the Unified flashing tool similar to Uniflash and it should be available for users soon. Currently early version is planned for Processor SDK RTOS 5.x that happens at the end of this month if there are no issues found in system test and subsequent releases will support larger number of features and devices. I will post an update when this is available.

    Regards,
    Rahul
