Linux/TDA2EXEVM: XDCTools for Linaro compiling

Dear Sirs:

We are using the Linux Environment of VSDK 03_02_00_00.

And We try to use Alg_VpeSwMs.

Base on the URL:

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../StdDotH

When try to write code use the AlgVpeSwMs, we add the following into the Linux MAKEFILE

-Dxdc_target_types__=gnu/targets/arm/std.h -Dxdc_target_name__=GCArmv7A

But we found it will cause error because the XDC tool only contains the core part but no other parts like xdctools_3_25_05_94 we used in DM81xx.

My question is which version of XDC tools we should use if we are going to create the VpeSwMs link in Linux APP.

You are trying to port VpeSwMs to linux . ?

Vpe drivers are for ipu only hence it cannot be ported to linux.
You will have to use vpeswms in ipu cores only.

Dear Sir:

We are not porting the VPE driver to Linux, we just try to use vpeSwMs in Linux, which should be able to do in this way because the vpwsWMs algorithm link is still in IPU and nothing is changed. It should be able to do create the link from A15 CPU like the demo code running on A15 BIOS mode. However it can not just because the XDCTOOLS does not include a GNU package like it had before.
