Based on some testing I have seen recently it looks like the HCNTL signals for the HPI interface for DM365 in SPRUFI4a are swapped, this was also pointed out earlier in the forums in the posting here mentioning it, this seems to also be a bug in the DM6467 documentation. This post is just an attempt to raise the issue in the proper forum, as this is one more implementation that shows the HCNTL signals are opposite of what the SPRUFI4a shows.
