Is there detailed info available on the DEMMU??

The datasheet alleges that it can be found in the TRM -

"For details on the DEMMU feature, see the System MMU chapter of the TMS320C6A8x Integra
DSP+ARM Processors Technical Reference Manual (literature number SPRUGX9)."

The TRM [Literature Number: SPRUGX9 22 October 2010] has no info.

The System MMU chapter of the C6A816x TRM is currently going through review, and will be added to the online TRM document soon.

In the sprugx9.pdf of 1 July 2011 I see the demmu mentioned only once in "1.15.1.3.2 Initiator Pressure 0 Register (INIT_PRESSURE_0)".

Did I miss something?

Hello Marc,

I am wondering if TI changed the name of the DEMMU. What Markus was trying to say in his post is that if you search all 2292 pages of the PDF, you will only find the term 'DEMMU' mentioned on one page and it is only wrt the two 'pressure bits'.

Either there was some nomenclature change or there is a MAJOR chunk of info missing.

Sorry for the confusion. It is referred to as DEMMU and also as the System MMU. We will clarify that in the documentation.
