Hi.

I have a problem related on a implementation of new Algo link.

I have inserted new Algo link into "iss_capture_isp_simcop_display" usecase.

A new Algo link has a function to mask some pixels for test purpose.

When I wrote the Algo link code, I have refered to a "colortogray" Algo link.

However, booting sequence was not processed properly.

How could I solve this problem?

Hi Jeon,

It seems it crashed, does it happen only when you included this algorithm?
Can you connect to ipu using ccs and see where it is?

Hi Brijesh,

Yes, it happend only when I put the new Alg link into chain.
Unfortunately, we have failed to set the CCS on Windows7.
One guy keep trying for that, but it still not works properly.
A CCS is only way for debug my situation?

Please check your algorithm init code and see if there is nothing, which can crash??

Hi Brijesh,

I solved this problem.
I modified a processor setting for new Algo link from DSP1 to IPU0.
I have another question.

Now, I composed a chain like below.
IssCapture -> Alg_test (IPU1_0) -> IssM2mIsp -> IssM2mSimcop -> Display_Video

As you can see, I inserted new Alg_test bewteen IssCapture and IssM2mIsp,
because I want to implement a algorithm that working with RAW12 pixel data.

Is it possible to connect a chain in this order?

Great.
I did not understand how it solved by moving it to IPU.

Yes, you could add new algorithm after capture to process RAW12 bit data.

Hi Brijesh,

In the past, I wrote a usecase to run the Alg_test on DSP1,
which means that I modified the usecase to run the Alg_test on the IPU.

Now, I am modifiying the source code of the Alg_test
with reference to the source code of IssM2mIsp to receive the output of IssCapture.
But it's too difficult to understand the source code of IssM2mIsp.
Isn't there an example that is more understandable to receive the input of IssCapture's output?

Hi Jeon,

You could refer to frame copy algorithm link, which is very simple. It processes YUV data and copies into another frame. In your case, you will get RAW12 bit data and process it.
