eZdsp 5515 (!) Card Edge Connector

Hi all

I am looking for a card edge connector for the C5515 eZdsp board to hook it up on a breadboard. Since I am in the US I have to buy the stuff here.

I hope someone can help me out ... It would be great to have a distributor which ships me this stuff within a week.

    I ordered a sample of the Card Edge Connector directly from Samtec.

    Here is the product number:  MEC1-130-02-S-D-A

    If you look it up on their homepage you can also download the datasheet/spec.

    Hi Martin

    I found this one before but it is surface mount. I would be happier with DIP mount to put it into a breadboard (I just need a handful of line and for the prototype is a breadboard just good enough). Is there something in normal mount?

    Edit: I just found the table on page 13 ... this is the one posted by  you. But as I said - non SMD would be better

    Hi

    Oh, I see. I don't know where you can find a non-SMD version. Have you tried to find a connector without polarisation and the right pitch? Maybe you will find something from Molex.

    Do you have the possibility to make a small adapter PCB for the SMD connector?

    I will go to the storage this afternoon and see if we have something without polarisation (with would be better but okay, you can't get everything).

     

    When I have to use SMD I will use a PCB instead of a breadboard :)

    Edit: We don't have a fitting connector in the storage. Therefore I will build a little PCB :)
