Thanks. Section 9.6 had relevant details. How do I find which compiler (TI or GCC) supports a specific processor-AM3/AM4/AM5?

The better question is which compiler is recommended for a particular core of a device. In general, GCC is usually used for Cortex-A (especially A15) while for the other cores, TI compiler is used. But this is a question best answered by the Sitara device experts in the forum
