AMIC110: Isolating PRU from Watchdog reset

Hi,

Is the Cortex-A8 CPU's watchdog timer isolated from PRU-ICSS?
If there is a watchdog time out in the CPU, does it reset the PRU-ICSS core also?
and the communication(like EtherCAT) is also stopped?

Hi,

Watchdog reset is an internal warm reset source. It resets the entire system, with some exceptions. You can find details in Table 8-25 from the AM335x TRM Rev. P. The PRU-ICSS cannot be isolated from WDT reset.
