The link http://software-dl.ti.com/infotainment/esd/jacinto6/processor-sdk-rtos-automotive/latest/index_FDS.html 

shows the CCS version to be used as 7.x.x. Can we use the Automotive RTOS SDK with CCSv8?

    Hi Smitha,

    The main dependency on CCS in PSDKRA is with the PDK example projects, which use the Eclipse backend to generate the CCS projects and are then built and run in CCS. We have done some spot-checking of this using CCSv8, and in general it seems to be okay. However, please note that not all projects have been fully validated against CCSv8, so we can't guarantee that there won't be some minor issue.

    Otherwise, if you have you have an existing application and are wondering about which CCS version from a debugger/IDE perspective, I would recommend going with the latest CCS version for robustness and stability.
