Linux/AM3352: Supported OPP's for DDR3

Hi,

I am using AM3352BZCZD80 with DDR3L (custom board).

As per data sheet revision-J, page-116, OPP50 with DDR3 is not supported. But, this is not very clear to me that, whether data sheet is referring to OPP50 of VDDCORE alone or both MPU & CORE domain.
Question is can we use "DDR3L + AM3352 ZCZ package @OPP50" ?

Any recommendations ?

Hi,

Table 5-6 in the datasheet is quite clear. If you have VDD_CORE at OPP50, then DDR3 is not supported.

This means, I can have OPP50 for MPU but not for CORE as per table 5-6.
But, section 7.3 OPP50 Support gave different perspective.

See Table 5-8 for valid OPP combinations. VDD_MPU OPP50 is valid only with VDD_CORE OPP50.

On your second question, this is done by Linux power management: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Linux_Core_Power_Management_User's_Guide_(v4.4)

Table 5-8 on Rev-J says VDD_MPU OPP50 is valid with both OPP50 & OPP100 of VDD_CORE.

I am reading a wrong version of data sheet?
