Can you bring up the memory view and the register view in CCS? Try serching for these registers/addresses in the memory view and in the register view and verify if they are different than 0s?

As I'm running a script from a gel file, I don't think I can see any of theses values before implementing the auto generated c file in the TDA.

In any case, I think the problem could be in the same gel file or sbl.

No you should be able to see them. Is the platform running? You can brin up the memory view and scan for these values.

Then, that looks like the actual hardware is exactly configured as the spreadsheet values you provided (i.e. CCS registers match values generated by the spreadsheet). I'm not familiar with the c file you have generated with blank values. How did you generate that? Can you try again now that we see the values are not 0's in the register view?

The process that I follow is similar as Praveen does in this post but for a different processor:

For some reason when I execute the Script-->DDR leveling and compile and execute the code, it generates automatically the c file with these registers in blank.

Right, what I am trying to understand is why the HW shows values then the scripts exports blank ones... perhaps I can bring in DDR experts here for comments. They will reply here directly.

You previously mentioned the following:

Thus although you selected hardware leveling in the spreadsheet, it sounds like you are running a software leveling program / tool which is providing optimal DLL ratio values. If you are using hardware leveling, you do not need to use the software leveling tool. You can use the register values provided by the spreadsheet.

If you believe you are not running software leveling, please provide us with more details on what tool you are using to auto-generate the .c file.

Hi Javier,

It is not entirely clear what is being run when you execute the GEL or the binary file. As a kind reminder, you do not need to run software leveling if you are using hardware leveling.

If there is concern that the bad boards are due to DDR, a few suggestions include:
1) Run a memory test on the bad board to see if you observe any failures
2) After configuring the DDR on both a bad board and a good board, dump the registers to a .dat file and compare the differences.
