AM5726: GPMC connection to ASIC

Part Number: AM5726

Hello,

I want to connect the AM5726.GPMC to an Asic via "Asynchronous Address/Data-Nonmultiplexed Device", like technical Datasheet (see pictures).

GPMC- Signal Direction Asic-Signal Direction
GPMC_CSx Output _-------> nCS Input
GPMC_BE{0..1} Output _-------> nBE{0..1} Input
GPMC_OEN_REN Output _-------> nRD Input
GPMC_WEN Output _-------> nWR Input
GPMC_A[1..23] Output _-------> A[0..22] Input
GPMC_AD[0..15] Output _-------> D[0..15] Input
GPMC_WAIT[0..1] INPUT <--------- nRDY Output

GPMC_WAIT[0..1] is the only input signal on the GPMC Controller. I have to use it to connect the nRDY signal?

What do the gpmc_wait signal exactly?

Why are two wait signal on GPMC Controller? Should I connect both?

The correctly timing I can configurate it in GPMC_CONTROL register. The values are in cycles in respect to clocks of FCLK_GPMC.

How high is that clock (in MHz) ?

    Your ASIC uses this signal to indicate when it's ready to R/W data. You should connect it to one of the GPMC_WAIT pins.

    No, only one is needed.

    At boot time the GPMC clock is initialized to 266MHz.
