Hi Hitesh,
On DM368, you should be able to decode 3 CH D1 @ 30fps and reencode if with CIF@30fps. I assume you want to use resizer also to resize from D1 to CIF. This might cause some degradation.

Hi Anshuman,
Can you please tell me how many D1 channnel simultaneously decode @ 30fps and re-encode them @D1 and @VGA resolutions and @what fps ?
Thanks,
Hitesh
Hitesh,
It heavily depends upon your usecase and what all data flows you would like to turn on. You can have a thumbrule that overall you can go to a maximum of 120fps (including Enc or Dec) at D1 resolution. This could mean that you can do 2 channels decode of D1 @ 30fps and then re-encode the same two D1 @30fps.
Hope this helps.

Anshuman

Thanks Anushuman.
It means if i have resolution D1@10 fps then, it will able to decode and reencode same upto 6 channels. ?
Thanks,
Hitesh
Yes, subject to availabilty of ARM926 Mhz. More channels may add to ARM926 load, it depends on your application. In case your are OK from ARM load, you can have 6 channels on D1@10fps.
