Hi,

It seems like TRM does not mention about all of AXRx bit filed in PDIR register. For example, if we configure the following configurations, there is no valid bit field in PDIR register.

AXR0,2,4,6,8,10：OUTPUT
AXR1,3,5,7,9,11：INPUT

I believe this is documentation error. Can you clarify ?

Hi,

Do you mean there aren't enough AXR bits in the MCASP_PDIR register (there are 4 AXR Bits and up to 16 serializers)?
If so then I think you are correct. You can submit a documentation feedback through the link (entitled "Submit Documentation Feedback") at the bottom of each page in the TRM and this will be taken care of by the docs team.

Yes, you understand our question correctly. As for documentation feedback, i'll do so, but that would be just a notification for your doc team, right ? Fixing the doc is also important, but actually, I would like to have the information for the correct bit position for each AXRs on K2G12 too. Can I understand that should be the same scheme with, for example, C674x parts?

Submit done for doc team via the link on TRM. I'm now waiting for the correct bit positions for possible AXRs on the device.

Hi Kawa-chan, you're right - it should look like the C674x PDIR, where bits 0:15 are assigned to AXR[0:15]. Just a documentation error. We'll get it fixed!
