RTOS/AM5728: eMMC programming

I've an AM5728 SOM and would like to boot TI-RTOS and start an application from the eMMC. How can I prepare the eMMC for this? My main host environment is Windows 10, but I do have RHEL and Ubuntu as secondary hosts. Thanks in advance.

eMMC booting is currently not supported in the TI RTOS environment as you can see from there. This is a feature requirement that we are currently tracking and plan to provide later in 2H2018.

Currently, we have EMMC low level driver that can be used to read and write from the eMMC flash and an reference SBL implementation with SD/MMC but will need additional development work for formatting and writing image to eMMC and modify the SBL to read images from eMMC paritions.
