DM6446 SD Card Problem

Hi,
I found the problem when I put a SD card into sd card connector or take out a SD card.

Sometimes when I insert a SD Card or take out SD Card, system down.
I think that kernel seems to down.

error message is shown below.
Did you find this problem?
Code: e59f3728 e5931070 e595300c e3510000 (e5933000)

  • I tried reproducing this issue with my DM6446 DVEVM board but was unable to get the same result, I am booting the kernel from DVSDK 1.30.01.41. I connected and disconnected the card several times and never received any kernel errors, it just keeps popping up a message from the driver confirming insertion:

This could be some bug in the kernel drivers you are using, if you are not already using the latest DVSDK 1.30.01.41 you may want to give it a try (you can download newer DVSDK software from www.ti.com/davinciregistration). It could also be something specific about your SD card, in this case my card is a Micro Center 2GB card, it happens to be formatted with two partitions (FAT and NTFS) for the purposes of booting an OMAP3.
