SD Card Detection on DAT3 pin

Can someone check on this?

I heard DaVinci Processors can use the DAT3 pin for a card insertion and ejection.

This should be possible on OMAP3.  However, I think it requires some controllable external hardware to do the detection, or at least be able to enable/disable pull up/down resistors on that pin, which is possible on OMAP3.
