Compiler/TMS320C6678: Build with gmake gives assembly errors when building nimu_eth.obj

Hi,

I am having problems when building with gmake nimu_eth.c inclunded in my project.

In particular I have this error:

Instruction invalid for C6400+
MFENCE

Any idea of what this is?

Hi,

Please clarify what Processor SDK RTOS release you used? And why you need to build nium_eth.c, it is part of the NIMU library. Do you follow the TI software-dl.ti.com/.../Overview.html to build the library? And what is the TI CGT compiler version and compiler flags? Is this the same as we suggested?

Hi,

It was a bug in our makefiles. for some reason the compiler string was not getting the correct flags (mv6000)
