Hello,

My customers want to know the DPLL_HDMI lock time on AM5728.
Could you confirm the following questions?
Their OS is Linux and version is 04.03.00.05.

1.For the HDMI output from AM5728, is DPLL_HDMI locked after the configuration of resolution by Linux OS?

2.Could you tell me how to confirm the DPLL_HDMI lock time in the above situation?

Hi,

1. I have asked the software team to comment. They will respond here.
2. Look in AM572x Datasheet SR2.0 Rev. D. Table 6-12 shows that the DPLL_HDMI is Type B. Table 6-14 lists the DPLL Type B characteristics, including lock/relock times.

Hi Nomo,

It's not clear exactly what you are asking for.

The PLL is locked during the HDMI configuration. It is needed for the HDMI to function.
