gpio GPIO conectoin in DM6437

hi,

in DM6437 i need to build an output interface for that i want to conect it for the project with an wireup conection.

i thught that there should be an GPIO conectors that i can use but i didnt found them.

the things that most sutibale for the project is the DC_P1 and the DC_P2 but as i see in the datasheets i saw that they have another purpose.

my question is the following, is there any GPIO that i can actually use?

another is if there is not can i use the DC_P1 or the DC_P2 for a general purpose and use it as interupts in my project?

and finally is the last option is to use it with an test points.

if you look at out data-sheet (http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tms320dm6437.pdf); you will see that GPIO pins are multiplexed with a variety or peipherals (AEMIF, PCI, VLYNQ...). The EVM exposes many these pins thru DC connectors (e.g. VLYNQ), but it does not list them as GPIO (see tech ref manual: http://c6000.spectrumdigital.com/evmdm6437/reve/files/EVMDM6437_TechRef.pdf)

That said, you need to figure out which peripherals are muxed with GPIO (by looking at data-sheet) and exposed by DC connectors on EVM (by looking at tech ref manual), and decide which you can live without. Once you know this, you can change muxing option is software and use pin as GPIO.

yes,these is many GPIO we can use.

I want to know what is DC_P1 or DC_P2?but I know every GPIO can generate an interupt in your project.
