C5515 GPIO Output capabilities

Hi,

what is the maximum rating of the outputcurrent of the c5515 GPIOs. Is it really 6mA as the SPRS645A says on p. 75?

Hi Micky,

The maximum current rating for the GPIO pins is 4mA. Please refer to page 66 in the latest version of the datasheet: http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tms320c5515.pdf

Yes. That's what the IO cell can do.

After confirming with my teammates, 4mA is correct for GPIO. The 6mA is for EMIF.
