Hi Experts,

I am working on interfacing OV5693 Camera sensor using MIPI CSI2 interface on TDA3x.

This camera sensor only works in video (streaming) mode.

1 - Can we interface the OV5693 camera sensor using MIPI CSI2 on TDA3x ?

2 - TDA3x CSI2 interface support command and video mode ?

Hi Gajanan,

We would require more details of the sensor, TDA3x supports CSI2 interface and have interfaced with variety of sensors.
Require details such as
1. How many lanes do you plan to use
2. What the clock speed
3. What is the data format (RAW(Bayer)/Others)

Also, what do you mean by "command"

TDA3x CSI-2 is fully compliant with MIPI 1.3 standard. As long as the sensor is compliant, it can be interfaced with TDA3x.

Hi Sujith,

Please find the required details -

1 - 4 data lanes & 1 clock lane.
2 - data transfer speed needs to be around 600Mbps.
3 - RG10 data format.

Hi Gajanan,

#1 & #2 can be supported no issues. On #3, Dosen't seem like a standard data-format, is it RGB10?
Also, what kind of processing is required on this video-stream?
