RTOS/AM5728: CTT output files

I'm creating board library for my custom board based on evmAM572x. Vin2a is used on my board.

so some work may be done to 'mycuntomBoard/mycustomboard_pll.c' and mycuntomBoard/mycuntomBoard_clock.c'.(copied from src/evmAM572x).

some questions confused me:

1. How to use the output file(.rd1/.rd2) when i create my board_lib?

2.Could you share the .rd1 or .rd2 file of evmAM572x for reference?

Hi,

1). The rd1/rd2 files are constructed of the following format:
<register address> <register value>
So you can import this files in CCS to visualize them, or you can use the values from these files and write them to your file mycustomboard_pll.c, you cannot use them directly in Processor SDK RTOS.

2). I am not aware of .rd1 (or .rd2) files available for evmAM572x. You can use the GEL files provided with the Processor SDK RTOS & CCS to see how the AM572x PLLs are set.

I know what you said.
But it will be wonderful if the CTT has the function to export the source file which could be added to board/src/mycustomBoard and be compiled directly.

As of now this is not supported. I have no information if there is a plan to add such feature.

Hello,

We cannot possibly support various kinds of file formats across all these different SDKs and board files. It's up to the user to use the "generic register dump" file and convert the values to whatever format they may need.
