is there any jpeg encode demos for dm6467t-evm?

The JPEG encoder is part of the current DVSDK. You can just use it as is. The only thing you need is to convert the color space from 422SP to 422P.

there is no JPEG DEMO, what I'm saying is that the JPEG encoder is part of the DVSDK. You will have to write your own code to use the codec.

A good starting point to write code to test the JPEG encoder on DM6467 is the DMAI sample application image_encode_io1. This is a file input/file output application. Out of the box it does not support dm6467. As Fabrice mentionned it will require some work to perform colorSpace conversion. Please take a look a the DMAI release notes about how to use DMAI.

For colorspace conversion please see the function readFrame420SP() in another DMAI sample app video_encode_io1/appMain.c. This will perform the colorspace conversion on the ARM

It is also possible to perform the colorspace conversion on the DSP using the C6accel library:

i am now trying to use c6accel lib to do the color conversion work(convert 422sp to 420planar)

i use the function as follows:

Parameters

• hC6accel: C6Accel handle
• y_src Luminance data of YUV422sp input
• cbcr_src Chrominance data of YUV422 semiplanar input
• y_dst Luminence data of YUV420 planar output(Y’).
• cb_data Blue color-diff (B’-Y’) output (yuv420 planar.)
• cr_data Red color-diff (R’-Y’) output(in 420 planar format).
• num_lines Number of lines in the image.
• Width: Width of image data. Must be multiple of 16
• src_pitch: Pitch of the input image
• dst_y_pitch: Pitch of the ouput luminance image
• dst_cbcr_pitch: Pitch of the output chrominance
• Return value: Error codes

but i cannot get the right output image,the luma info is correct,the chroma is wrong.

i guess maybe the last 3 params are the reason,

• src_pitch: Pitch of the input image
• dst_y_pitch: Pitch of the ouput luminance image
• dst_cbcr_pitch: Pitch of the output chrominance

for a image like 1920x1080,what should the params be?

i tried some different numbers,but it does not work.
