lupdate error in processor SDK yocto

Hi,

I have to use Qt Linguist feature in my qt app for which i need lupdate command to build .ts from .pro file. But it displayed error could not exec from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt4/bin/lupdate

but after installing qt4-dev-tools in the building pc i get error as

Hi Sam,

I am not familiar with QT development, but it looks like the error comes from trying to build Qt5 application with Qt4 tools.
Can you try to install Qt5 dev tools (I think it is qttools5-dev-tools package in Ubuntu) and give a try?

The error is solved but there is no output observed on changing the language and it just shows a blank space while running the app on device. It works fine on PC. The problem is that qt is unable to display other languages. Tried to run a simple app which displays text in local language, works on pc but displays blank space on device.

The problem is that the device supports only few languages. Is it possible to just add the ttf file of the font in /usr/share/font/ttf folder ?

Hi Yordan,
I did it but there were no changes observed. I have a text file having regional languages in it. On opening the text file in a terminal on board displays nothing/garbage value.
