Linux/LINUXSDK-AM35X: Sharing EDMA channel with PRU

within PRU, I use eDMA to fetch data from DDR.

How can I make sure Linux is not using the same channels and PaRAM numbers?

Hello Armin,

You can see which channels are used by ARM in the device tree files. You can also reserve PaRAM slot ranges so that the Linux driver does not use them. Within the Linux SDK, take a look at Documentation/devicetree/bindings/dma/ti-edma.txt for usage examples.

I would suggest starting by searching arch/arm/boot/dts in a similar manner to
$ grep -r --include=am33* 'edma'
