CCS/AM5718: Mac OS support

Can you elaborate further on how you plan to use AM571x ? Are you using Processor SDK? Will you be using Linux or planning to develop ARM/DSP using TI RTOS or bare metal.

As Ki-Soo mentioned for CCS having MaC OS support for Sitara family is currently not in the plans/roadmap.

I am not aware of any other IDE that would be at par with CCS for development with TI processors - so don't have a good recommendation for a 3P IDE.

The only recommendation we can make is to consider VM (e.g. Parallels) running Linux on the macOS – which will allow both CCS to run as well as work with TI Processor SDK for Linux etc.

My plan is not to use an OS such as Linux as I think it would create too much overhead.

I’m planning to use it to send it’s memory contents (read only) to multiple devices (96 to 128 possibly), sort of similar to a multi-port memory controller/DMA/server for a proprietary product.

I want to evaluate it using either the EVM or Beagle Bone X15, whichever is more suitable.
